Phil conducted by Esa-Pekka Salonen November 2012, revival of Birtwistle’s The Minotaur at Royal Opera House Covent Garden Januar 2013, Barak in a concert performance of Strauss' Die Frau ohne Schatten at Concertgebouw February 2013 and the title role in Wagner’s Der fliegende Holländer revived at Bayerische Staatsoper April 2013. He also performs in the premiere of Verdi’s Nabucco at Deutsche Oper September 2013 and in the revival of Strauss' Die Frau ohne Schatten at The Met November 2013.
Johan Reuter has released a wide host of CDs, including recordings of Kunzen’s Holger Danske, Carl Nielsen’s Maskarade, Schubert’s Winterreise (in Danish), Rare Verdi with rare Verdi arias, and a CD with lieder by Richard Strauss, Nielsen and Børresen. He furthermore appears on a number of DVDs, including The Copenhagen Ring, Bo Holten’s The Visit of the Royal Physician, Mozart’s Zaïde and Birtwistle’s Minotaur.
