Ramble along on an adventurous voyage with Shane and his fanciful decorations and costumes in a brand new children’s ballet that relates the tale of Ferdinand the storyteller.

“Imagination is more important than knowledge,” Albert Einstein once said. And imagination is what Fabelmageren is all about, a new children’s ballet created by multi-artist Shane Brox, known from the award-winning TV series Shane’s World where his quirky tales are elaborated with recycled bin treasures and glitter.

Shane’s Fabelmageren is about a boy called Ferdinand, who understands the importance of exploring his own fantasy world and about his encounter with the good and evil forces that are hidden within us all. Come and meet the Snow Dragon, Dance Sausage, Monster Diva and all the other strange creatures that inhabit Ferdinand’s wild imagination.

Fabelmageren is directed by Shane himself, while the choreography is by Esther Lee Wilkinson, who last season staged the box office hit Stolen Spring. The ballet will be performed by students from the Royal Danish Theatre Ballet School.

The production of Fabelmageren has been made possible with generous support by the Bikuben Foundation.
