Short Time Together offers a chance to experience what’s new from the international dance scene. Four of the most talented young choreographers stage three works that delineate the scope of contemporary dance.

Spanish Sol León and British Paul Lightfoot are resident choreographers of the Nederlands Dans Theater. They are an institution within contemporary dance and have together created more than 50 ballets. Their works are characterised by humour, passion, musicality and unpredictability, and Short Time Together from 2012 is no exception.

Israeli choreographer Idan Sharabi is an unyielding artist with a very personal vernacular. His ballets revolve around the human condition. It is therefore with great pleasure that Corpus now invites him to take part in a unique collaboration on an entirely new creation.

Slovak choreographer Natalia Horecna is one of the hottest names in dance. We are very proud that she now sets out to create The Death That Best Preserves for the Royal Danish Ballet. Horecna says that she in this ballet “looks at the past, at what it has saved for us, and looks at death as a new beginning from which the best preserved memories flourish and become something new. Perhaps something new that is even better…”
