Why is ballet still relevant today?
Ballet will always be relevant, because you can find a free space in it. Besides that it is an art form in which you can put on new perspectives on some of the problems in the society. It is also a form of expression that can make everybody let go of the daily problems. Ballet can mesmerize and expand both fantasy and knowledge, as well as your awareness for your own feelings and outlook in life.
What is your favorite food?
Everything that contains truffel.
Where can we find you on a day off?
On my days off I enjoy going for long walks with coffee in my hand, meeting friends and/or family. It is fantastic to jump in the water or to visit a museum, where I can be inspired and find peace. Especially when I end up in the children’s department where I get the chance to do my own paintings and sculptures … even though I paint and sculpt as if I were still a small child.
