True to tradition, the Royal Danish Theatre Opera Academy stages a spring performance at Takkelloftet where this season audiences can look forward to a drama in which being righteous doesn’t pay – quite the contrary.

L’incoronazione di Poppea relates the story of Emperor Nero’s mistress, who against accepted custom and by means of less-than-righteous roads is crowned Empress. This is a tale of thirst for power in which the virtuous remain the victims of the game.
