The Royal Danish Opera Chorus invites you to the Old Stage for an evening of choral music of the highest standard. The Royal Danish Opera Chorus generally performs with the Royal Danish Opera in mellifluous harmony with the Royal Danish Orchestra and the opera’s soloist ensemble. At this concert, however, the audience is presented with a unique opportunity to get close to the Royal Opera Chorus, which will present a range of Late Romantic works ‘a cappella’ – without musical accompaniment. In the second half of the concert, the Opera Chorus will fill the Old Stage with a selection of the grandest choruses of the opera repertoire to piano accompaniment as a festive and evocative end to the evening.
