*****************************************************

What was the first ballet you saw?
The first professional ballet I saw was The National Ballet of Canada’s The Nutcracker.

Why do you dance?
Dancing is a part of me, it allows me to express myself and my feelings in the only way I know how.

Why do you think that ballet is relevant today?
Ballet is relevant today and will remain relevant until the end of time as it is an art form that people can get emotionally and physically connected to. This art form helps provide not only entertainment but knowledge and feelings of emotional cleansing. Those who see ballet, know this, however, we must focus harder on not being an art form only the upper class or selected few are privileged to see.
