Education: The Royal Danish School of Ballet.
Career: Was admitted to the Royal Danish Ballet School in 1983, he became an apprentice in 1990 and a member of the corps de ballet in 1992. In 1997 he was promoted to soloist and principal dancer in 1998.
At The Royal Danish Theatre: Principal parts: The Ballet Master in The Lesson, Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, Prince Siegfred in Swan Lake, Basil in Don Quixote, James in La Sylphide, Albrecht in Giselle, Prince Desiré in The Sleeping Beauty, the title role in Onegin, Genaro in Napoli, Des Grieux in Manon, Count Vronsky in Anna Karenina and the principal part in Etudes.
Soloist parts: The Duke in The Lady of the Camellias, Monsieur Duval in The Lady of Camellias, Tchaikovsky’s Pas de Deux, In the Middle Somewhat Elevated, Etudes, Bolero, Stepping Stones, Fearful Symmetries, Symphony in C, Jardi Tancat, Jazz, Return to a Strange Land, Ash, Ønsket, Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Lensky in Onegin, Prince Paris in Romeo and Juliet and Espada in Don Quixote.
Other engagements: Gala performances in Europe, Japan and the US. Performances on tours covering much of South America and South Africa with Principal and Soloist Dancers of the Royal Danish Ballet.
Creations: Peter Martin’s Pan og Syrens, Alexei Ratmansky’s Anna Karenina and Tim Rushtons Requiem.
Prizes and scholarships: The 1992 DANCE Award, the Sven Åge Larsen’s Grant in 1995, the Bournonville Grant in 1996, a grant from Gurli and Poul Madsen’s Foundation in 1997, and the Albert Gaubier's Grant in 1998.
